How Do I Deal With the Midnight Sun?! ☀️

You guys know I live 220 miles above the Arctic Circle in Tromsø, Norway and people ask me how I deal with the Midnight Sun and if it bothers me.

So right now, and until the 25th of July, the sun will not set. It’s in the sky all 24 hours everyday. It does affect some things. It makes the weekends at my bartending job a little different because we have DJ’s every weekend. People don’t want to dance in a bar when it’s brightly lit. That’s the thing about dance floors right? You want to dance in the darkness, that way the disco ball and the lights can show. You don’t want everyone seeing what you’re doing in a bar. We grab these big black window cover things to help block out the light. It works pretty good to keep the vibes cool. 💃🪩🕺

As far as how I deal with it at home. It’s not really a bother to me. I have good blinds that block out the light really well so it never bothers me trying to get to sleep. I actually keep a pretty normal sleep schedule. I actually think the midnight sun is cool because if you go outside at night, it’s sunny! 🤷🏾‍♂️😂 So, no, it doesn’t bother me. 😴

How do you think you would handle it? Would it bother you? Or nah?
