The 5 songs I'm listening to this week and why. 11/22/20 - 11/28/20

  1. Memo 600 - “Exposing Me”

There are so many versions of this song and remixes galore but the original belongs to Mr. Memo from 600 and it’s my favorite version. I do like the remix with King Von but I wish that Memo would have put his second verse onto it making it a three verse song. Luckily someone on the internet MADE that version and that is the video that I will put in this post. The remix with BOTH of Memo’s verses is the best version to me. I’m just a fan tho! Shout out to Memo holding 600 down. Free Da Guys! 100x6.

  2. Vance Joy - “I’m With You”

I am a Vance Joy fan. Who doesn’t love “Rip Tide”? If you have never heard that song, you need to go hear it now and also get from underneath whatever rock is on top of you. THIS Vance Joy song sounds like a song that should be played at a wedding. If I ever am lucky enough to get married, this song will for sure be on the playlist.

  3. KTS Von - “Kill To Survive”

Better look up when you in the field cause there’s no lackin allowed and it’s kill to survive frfr. RIP KTS Von. What else is new? You get a hot song from real life Chicago gangster who dabbles in music and then you love the song and then the rapper is dead. There is so much violence in these skreets but I wish they could’ve all gotten that Chief Keef money and moved away and left all the street stuff behind them. Isn’t that the goal? The music lives on tho and I am thankful for that. Chicago artists give you the real deal actual facts in their music. All of the names you hear are real people and as you can see other people don’t always like all the lyrics and they come and handle it. I want every Chicago rapper to get paid! The whole world is stealing your style and making money from it but more often than not, the originals behind it just end up dead with no money. RIP EVERYONE!

  4. Nathan Micay - “Blue Spring”

HBO’s “Industry” brought me here because of course it did! If you have seen the show, which is my new favorite show btw, you would know this is the theme song and its amazing! This song absolutely demands to be listened to with headphones on, in the dark. Just one of those vibes you wanna just close your eyes to and let the music carry you away somewhere. Masterful.

  5. Vasco & Maitreya Jani - “Woo Hoo”

I don’t know anything about the musicians that sing this song but I LOVE this song! Makes me wanna scream Woo Hoo lol. Cheers mate!
